There are 2 tasks that an Employer should perform every year to comply with the requirements set by the Inland Revenue Board.
The 2 tasks are:
1. EA Form
The Employer shall prepare and render to the Employee a Statement of Remuneration (CP 8A/EA Form) on or before the last day of February. This is important for the Employee to fill and submit the tax return form in accordance to the subsection 83(1A), Income Tax Act 1967 (Act)
2. E Form
The Employer shall furnish to the Director General of the Inland Revenue Board a return in the prescribed form (E Form) no later than 31st March, in accordance to the subsection 83(1) Act.
